These vector graphics are stickers and a t-shirt design that I created. I wanted to share things that I love and tell people a bit about who I am a as a person. The jellyfish sticker is supposed to tell people that I sting. That is the one I want to focus on today.
I did some ideation sketches to figure out what I wanted everything to look like. I played around with the pattern on top of the jellyfishes head
I played around with the inner jellyfish tentacles being together versus apart. I had drawn most of the tentacles together, but I did not like how it looked, especially when I drew them together in Illustrator. I did one drawing of them apart and I really liked it.
I had originally had the tentacles warped, but after talking with a mentor, I decided to change the tentacles into an art brush. They look more natural and flowy with the art brush than they did with the warp.
